Location

Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in Western Uganda, well-on the Western rift valley arm of Africa. It is approximately 376 kilometers (234 miles), by road, South West of Kampala, the Uganda Capital. Its vastness reaches up to four districts in Uganda, including Kasese, Kawenge, Bushenyi and Rukungiri.

Best Time To Visit

Queen Elizabeth National Park are open for visitors throughout the year, the months of June-September are highly recommended because they fit right within the dry season. This is very important if one or a group would like a Game drive. This is so because during the dry season there is little or no guarantee for rainfall, which is generally disruptive in terms of movement and Lion-viewing.
