Location
The Pearl of Africa – Uganda is found in the Eastern part of Africa neighbouring Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. The land boasts of a wide array of wildlife species that roam the vast savannah plains that lie between rugged rift valley escarpments.

Summary of Uganda as a destination
Uganda was dubbed the “Pearl of Africa” following Winston Churchill’s visit in 1907. His journey through Uganda saw him incredibly stunned by the remarkable features of the land. To date the country continues to be one of Africa’s premier destinations gathering thousands of tourists every year and is most famous for the gorilla trekking experience in southwestern highlands of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park.
