Who We Are
We are a Ugandan based tours and travel company founded by a duo who share strong passion for nature, wildlife and wildlife conservation.
We conduct safaris and tours both group and solo travellers to fascinating destinations throughout Uganda (East Africa).
We are committed to unravelling all the splendor and thrill of the wilderness through the eyes of our clients. Through our well researched and customised itineraries, we offer unsurpassed tour and safari experiences to our clients.

Our Heritage
The Pearl of Africa is an incredibly and abundantly gifted land that for centuries has been home to the world’s most pristine wildlife icons such as the mountain gorillas, hundreds of endemic bird species. For generations, Uganda has stunned millions of travellers from across the world with her privileged beauty of the mighty River Nile – the world’s longest river that cascades 43metres through a 7metre gorge creating the world’s most powerful waterfall – the Murchison Falls coloured by a daily rainbow.
These features are unique to Uganda and are held in utmost regard by the people of Uganda led by expert conservationists at the Uganda Wildlife Authority, a body founded in 1996 with a singular resolute of “Conserving for Generations”.
Our role as Pumba Adventures Tours And Travel Ltd is to showcase and usher travellers into exploring these magnificent wildlife spectacles and foster sustainable tourism and conservation for generations to come.

Community Engagement
Pumba Adventures Tours And Travel Ltd is keen on contributing towards sustainable livelihood for members of the local communities particularly those situated in areas of active tourism.
We conduct cultural/community tours and we design our itineraries to include community engaging activities such as folk dance performances and art/craft making excursions among others in a bid to create opportunities for the local community guides, enhance creativity and community awareness of the benefits of tourism and wildlife conservation.
Through our partnership with Twekonyere Foundation Uganda (TWEFU), we engage the youth in Menstrual Health and Hygiene Education programmes to create awareness and address issues of girl-child stigmatization and marginalization in the rural communities of Uganda. With our continuous community led tours, we are then able to skill a healthy and confident girl-child generation to further the development of tourism in Uganda. We welcome and invite tourism enthusiasts and well-wishers to participate in these programmes to support and impact positively the lives of the vulnerable in our societies.
