Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is the smallest national park in Uganda that covers 33.7 sq.km and is located in the south western part of Uganda. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located in southwestern Uganda, in the district of Kisoro. It is part of the Virunga Massif mountain range, which spans across Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Best Time To Visit

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is open for visitors throughout the year, the months of June-September are highly recommended because they fit right within the dry season. This is so because during the dry season there is little or no guarantee for rainfall, which is generally disruptive in terms of movement.
