Not all is lost if you don’t make it South-West for the gorilla trek for up North lies another magnificent and popular destination, the famous Murchison Falls National Park, home to the world’s most powerful waterfalls where the longest river in the world gushes through a 7metre wide gorge and drops 42metres below.

The permanent rainbow is a colourful spectacle to the variant and abundant wildlife found within the national park. Murchison Falls National Park is the largest in Uganda covering districts of Pakwach, Nwoya, Kiryandongo and Masindi. Many tourists are seen to seek awe of the waterfalls and the amazing wildlife and therefore this park very often ranks among the top two most visited destinations in Uganda.

Uganda also referred to as the Pearl of Africa is richly gifted by Mother Nature with incredible sceneries such as the numerous magnificent waterfalls across the country. In Kidepo Valley National Park, one has a chance of sighting cheetahs, the world’s fastest land mammal as well as sighting several other incredible creatures such as zebras, giraffes, hyenas and Grey Crowned Crested Cranes among many others.
