Location
Murchison Falls national park is located in the northwestern parts of Uganda, spanning districts of Buliisa, Nwoya, Kiryandongo, and Masindi. Kidepo Valley National Park is located near Karenga in Kaabong District, in the northeastern corner of Uganda. Kibale National Park is a national park in western Uganda, protecting moist evergreen rainforest. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda at the edge of the Albertine Rift bordering Democratic Republic of Congo. Tarangire National Park is a situated in Tanzania’s Manyara region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses the park. Serengeti National Park is a large national park in northern Tanzania that stretches over 14,763 km2 It is located in eastern Mara region and northeastern Simiyu region. Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a protected and a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Ngorongoro District 180 km west of Arusha city within the crater highlands geological area of northern Tanzania.
