Location
Located in Tanzania’s Manyara region, Tarangire National Park derives its name from the Tarangire River traversing its expanse. Lake Manyara National Park was named after Lake Manyara that lies between Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the Ngorongoro District, approximately 180 km west of Arusha city.
